Reds remain undefeated to sit atop standings

With big wins over the StFX X-Men and Dalhousie Tigers, the UNB Reds remain undefeated on the season to sit atop the AUS men's hockey standings. The Reds ended StFX's four game winning streak with an 8-1 victory on Friday night, then blanked the Tigers 7-0 on Sunday, giving them a 10-0-2 record on the season.

The Saint Mary's Huskies and Universite de Moncton Aigles Bleus opened the week with a game on Wednesday, in which the Aigles Bleus earned a huge 6-0 win at home.

The Huskies then bounced back on Friday with a 4-2 win over the Acadia Axemen, while the Aigles Bleus dropped their game on Sunday against the Axemen, 5-1.

The Tigers ended a nine-game slide with a 4-3 shootout win over the UPEI Panthers on Friday, as Dalhousie defenceman Aiden Jamieson was the only shooter to connect on his shot, putting an end to Dalhousie's skid.

The X-Men and Panthers were scheduled to meet on Saturday evening, however the game was postponed.
