PURPOSE:

This "AUS on Track" section of the AUS website has been developed to serve as an educational resource for AUS member schools, coaches, student-athletes and prospective student-athletes.

Modules available in the AUS on Track program have been reviewed and verified by the U SPORTS Manager of Compliance and the National U SPORTS Eligibility Committee Members.

These modules can be accessed at any time to:

1. Research difficult eligibility interpretations.
2. Create educational materials or programs for their coaches \ student athletes.
3. Direct prospective or current student athletes to, in order to educate them on the U SPORTS rules.

AVAILABLE MODULES:

The U SPORTS Eligibility Committee, the AUS ERO and the AUS AFA Committee have developed the following modules:

• Administration of the Academic All Canadian Exemption as it Relates to U SPORTS Equivalency Rules
• Applying the Season Ending Injury Exemption
• Calculating a Student Athlete’s AFA Amount
• Calculating the AFA Equivalent
• AUS Coaches Official Guide to the U SPORTS Recruiting Rules
• Procedure for validating CÉGEP student-athletes eligibility
• Spring Award - (Q & A)
• Transfer Intake or University Entrance in the Winter Term
