Wednesday, November 11

Saint Mary's 5 at Dalhousie 3 (Box Score)

The Dalhousie Tigers hosted the Saint Mary's Huskies on Wednesday night. The Huskies got on the board early in the opening frame with a goal at 00:50 from fifth-year forward Matt Tipoff. A goal from Saint Mary's third-year defenceman Stephen Gillard at 11:55 in the first gave the Huskies the 2-0 edge heading into the second period. At 06:16 in the second frame, a goal from Huskies fifth-year defenceman Jamie Doornbosch put Saint Mary's up by three. At 07:04 in the middle frame, Dalhousie freshman forward Phil Gadoury put the Tigers on the board, followed by a power-play tally from teammate Fabian Walsh, cutting the Huskies lead to one. A power-play goal from Huskies third-year forward Stephen MacAulay put Saint Mary's ahead 4-2 heading into the final frame. A power-play goal from Saint Mary's freshman forward Anthony Repaci at 13:10 in the third put the Huskies ahead by three. A goal from Tigers freshman defenceman Jesse Lussier just 23 seconds later would keep the Huskies lead at two, but would not be enough as Saint Mary's earned the 5-3 victory over Dalhousie.

Friday, November 13

UPEI 3 at Saint Mary's 2 OT (Box Score)

The Saint Mary's Huskies hosted the UPEI Panthers at the Halifax Forum on Friday night. The Huskies opened the scoring with power-play goal late in the first period from fifth-year forward Matt Tipoff, giving Saint Mary's the 1-0 edge heading into the second period. At 12:17 in the second, a power-play goal from Huskies freshman forward Calder Brooks gave Saint Mary's the two goal lead. However, a power-play goal from UPEI sophomore forward Brent Andrews just over a minute later would cut the Huskies lead to one. Just 19 seconds into the third period, UPEI freshman forward Chad Labelle tied the game 2-2, which would force overtime. At 09:36 into the extra frame, UPEI's Brent Andrews tallied his second of the game, allowing the Panthers to claim the 3-2 victory over the Huskies.

Dalhousie 1 at Moncton 6 (Box Score)

The Dalhousie Tigers visited the Moncton Aigles Bleus on Friday evening. Late in the first period, Jean-Francois Plante put the Aigles Bleus on the board, giving Moncton the 1-0 edge heading into the second. A power-play goal from Tigers freshman forward Jackson Playfair at 10:30 in the second frame tied the game at 1-1, however a short-handed goal from Aigles Bleus fourth-year forward Alex Noel and a power-play tally from third-year forward Alex Saulnier put Moncton ahead 3-1 heading into the final frame. In the third, the Aigles Bleus continued to dominate over the Tigers with goals coming from freshman defenceman Samuel Roussy, freshman forward Marc-Anthony Therrien, and freshman forward Robbie Graham, allowing Moncton to claim the 6-1 victory.

UNB 3 at Acadia 4 OT (Box Score)

The Acadia Axemen hosted the UNB Varsity Reds in Wolfville on Friday night. The Axemen were the first on the baord with a power-play tally from sophomore forward Boston Leier just over five minutes into the opening frame. Later in the first, a goal from UNB third-year defenceman Jordan Murray, and a power-play tally from teammate Rob Mignardi gave the Varsity Reds a 2-1 edge heading into the second period. At 06:46 in the second, a power-play goal from UNB defenceman Alex Wall put the Varsity Reds ahead 3-1. However, another power-play goal from Acadia freshman forward Daniel Pettersson cut the Varsity Reds lead to one heading into the final frame. Acadia's Boston Leier scored the lone goal of the third period, and his second of the game, forcing overtime. Just 03:32 into the extra frame, Axemen freshman forward Kyle Farrell scored to give Acadia the 4-3 victory over UNB.

StFX 4 at St. Thomas 1 (Box Score)

The St. Thomas Tommies hosted the StFX X-Men in Fredericton on Friday night. Early into the opening frame, a power-play goal from StFX fourth-year defenceman Bronson Maschmeyer put the X-Men ahead by one. Two more goals in the first period from X-Men fourth-year forward Cory MacIntosh and Holden Cook gave StFX the 3-0 edge heading into the second period. At 17:55 in the second frame, St. Thomas sophomore forward Rankyn Campbell put the Tommies on the board, cutting the X-Men's lead to 3-1 after the second period. The lone goal of the third came at 15:49 from StFX sophomore defenceman Trey Lewis, giving the X-Men a three goal lead, earning the 4-1 victory over the Tommies.

Saturday, November 14

Dalhousie 1 at St. Thomas 0 SO (Box Score)

The Dalhousie Tigers visited the St. Thomas Tommies in Fredericton on Saturday evening. After a scoreless three periods, the game headed into overtime. The overtime period would also not be enough, forcing the game into a shootout. The second shooter for Dalhousie, freshman forward Felix Page put one past Tommies goalie Tyson Teichmann, scoring the only goal of the shootout, earning the 1-0 win for the Tigers.

StFX 4 at Moncton 1 (Box Score)

The Moncton Aigles Bleus hosted the StFX X-Men on Saturday night. After a scoreless first period, Moncton was the first on the board in the second frame with a power-play tally from freshman forward Robbie Graham. StFX struck back fast with three goals in the second from sophomore defenceman Craig Duininck, sophomore forward Eric Locke, and a power-play tally from freshman forward Nathan Pancel, putting the X-Men ahead 3-1 heading into the third. StFX freshman forward Holden Cook scored the lone goal of the third period, giving the X-Men the 4-1 victory over the Aigles Bleus.

UPEI 5 at Acadia 6 OT (Box Score)

The UPEI Panthers travelled to Wolfville on Saturday night to face the Acadia Axemen. The Panthers opened the scoring in the first with a power-play tally from third-year defenceman Brock Buekeboom. Just over a minute later, the Axemen got on the board with a goal from sophomore forward Remy Giftopoulos, and a tally from teammate Mike Cazzola, putting Acadia ahead 2-1 heading into the second. In the second frame, a short-handed goal from UPEI fourth-year forward Mason Wilgosh, and a power-play tally from teammate Chad Labelle gave the Panthers the 3-2 edge ahead of the final frame. The third period was high scoring and back and forth with two goals from UPEI, and three from Acadia. Goals from the Axemen came from sophomore defenceman Stephen Woodworth, freshman defenceman Brett Cote, and fourth-year forward Mike Cazzolafor his second of the game, while the Panthers goals were from fourth-year defenceman Nelson Armstrong and Mason Wilgosh for his second of the game, leaving the third period tied at 5-5, forcing overtime. Just 18 seconds into the extra frame, Acadia freshman forward Kyle Farrell scored, giving the Axemen the 6-5 overtime victory over the Panthers.
 
 

UNB 2 at Saint Mary's 4 (Box Score)

 

The Saint Mary's Huskies hosted the UNB Varsity Reds at the Halifax Forum on Saturday night. The Huskies were the first onto the board with goals coming from freshman forward Anthony Repaci, and a power-play goal from teammate Taylor Burke with just eight seconds remaining in the first frame, giving Saint Mary's the 2-0 edge going into the second. UNB third-year defenceman Jordan Murray scored a power-play goal at 13:34 in the second, putting the Varsity Reds on the board and cutting the Huskies lead to one. Early in the third, a tally from UNB third-year forward Phillippe Halley tied the game at 2-2. At 14:23 into the final frame, the Huskies reclaimed their lead with a goal from freshman defenceman Austyn Hardie, and a power-play goal from teammate Justin Weller, putting Saint Mary's ahead by two with just over two minutes remaining in regulation. The Huskies would hold on to earn the 4-2 victory over the Varsity Reds.
