(HALIFAX, N.S.) The UNB Varsity Reds scored 21 second quarter points on route to a 58-42 win over the Saint Mary's Huskies, in Halifax, on Friday. (HALIFAX, N.S.) The UNB Varsity Reds and Saint Mary's Huskies split the weekend series, as the Huskies earned a 61-56 victory Saturday afternoon. (ST. JOHN'S, N.L.) The Memorial Sea-Hawks women's basketball team secured their third straight victory with a convincing 70-57 victory over the StFX X-Women. The Sea-Hawks are now 3-0 on home court to begin the season. Brooklyn Wright led the Sea-Hawks, finishing with 17 points and 10 rebounds, to earn Subway Player-of-the-Game honours. UPEI 82 vs. Cape Breton 86 (Box Score)
(SYDNEY, N.S.) The Cape Breton University Capers ovrcame an early deficit to beat the UPEI Panthers 86-82 Saturday. Cape Breton found themselves down by 15 after the first quarter but fought their way back into the game, led by Alison Keough (24 points) and Hannah Brown (22 points). The Panthers were led offensively by Jenna Mae Ellsworth, who started out the game on fire, accumulating 14 points in just the first quarter, ending with 21 points. Read more: Recap

(HALIFAX, N.S.) In the second game of a home-and-home series, the Dalhousie Tigers hosted the number 2 ranked Acadia Axewomen in women's basketball action. The Axewomen put on a strong shooting display that gave them an early lead, and they didn't look back as they took it 88-49.
