Huskies earn 12th straight win to remain undefeated

The Saint Mary's Huskies remain undefeated on the AUS men's basketball season as they earned a 69-63 win over the Dalhousie Tigers Tuesday night, followed by a 85-71 win over the UNB Reds Friday evening and a 72-63 victory over the Memorial Sea-Hawks Sunday afternoon. Saint Mary's earned a massive 12 points from the three victories, keeping them at the top of the standings with 32 points.

The Cape Breton Capers extended their win streak to three this weekend which featured a 118-110 double overtime win over the StFX X-Men in Antigonish Wednesday night. The Capers then topped the Acadia Axemen 82-56 on Sunday afternoon.

Friday evening, the reigning AUS champ UNB Reds played to a 79-64 victory in Wolfville over the Axemen, while the X-Men earned a 78-74 victory on the road over the UPEI Panthers.

On Sunday afternoon, the Panthers bounced back from their loss to the X-Men as they earned a close 70-67 win over the Tigers in Charlottetown.
