Axewomen and Capers remain undefeated to lead AUS standings

The Acadia Axewomen and Cape Breton Capers both earned wins over the weekend to remain undefeated and sit at the top of the AUS standings with 5-0 records. The Axewomen earned the weekend sweep, with a 2-1 victory over the UNB Varsity Reds on Saturday afternoon, and a 3-0 win over the Mount Allison Mounties on Sunday afternoon.

The Capers played just one game this weekend, earning a dominant 8-0 shutout win over the UPEI Panthers in Sydney on Saturday afternoon.

The StFX X-Women earned the weekend sweep with a 2-0 win over the Mounties in Sackville on Friday night. The X-Women returned back to Antigonish on Sunday afternoon to take on the UPEI Panthers, earning a 4-0 victory. Weekend sweep.

The Memorial Sea-Hawks also earned a weekend sweep in Halifax. They played to 1-0 victory over the Saint Mary's Huskies on Saturday afternoon, and earned a 1-0 overtime win over the Dalhousie Tigers on Sunday afternoon.

The Universite de Moncton Aigles Bleues earned a 3-1 win over the Dalhousie Tigers in Halifax on Saturday afternoon. 

After a loss to the Acadia Axewomen on Saturday, the UNB Varsity Reds bounced back on Sunday to earn a 2-0 win over the Aigles Bleues on Sunday.
