In Week 8 of AUS women's hockey action, the Saint Mary's Huskies earned victories over the Dalhousie Tigers and Mount Allison Mounties, to record their third straight win.

Abigail Mackenzie scored a pair of goals as the Huskies defeated the Tigers 4-2 on Wednesday night at the Halifax Forum. Charlotte Buffie (PP) and Kara MacLean added tallies in the win, while Dalhousie's goals came from Emmerson Gormley and Olivia Eustace. Ridleigh Hansen made 28 saves for the Huskies, while Maggie Baxter stopped 29 in the loss.

Saint Mary's defeated the Mount Alison Mounties 3-1 on Saturday at the Homburg Centre, extending their win streak to three games. Jillian Duggan, Keyara Nelson and Kate Gallant all found the back of the net for the Huskies, while Oceane Asham scored the lone goal for the Mounties in the loss. Ridleigh Hansen stopped 24 shots for Saint Mary's, while Hanna Pagdato stopped 25.

The UNB Reds earned a weekend sweep as Lily George scored three times to lead the Reds to a 6-2 win over the Universite de Moncton Aigles Bleues Wednesday night at UNB's Aitken Centre. George's hattrick earned her Tim Horton's Player of the Game honours. Sydney Oitomen, Lauren Toner and Melanie Drost (PP) also scored for the home team, while Maritza Labrie and Erica Plourde found the back of the net for the Aigles Bleues.

Jorja Nystrom and Katelyn Scott scored shootout goals as the UNB Reds rallied to beat the UPEI Panthers 2-1 Saturday night. Goals in regulation came from UNB's Lily George, and UPEI's Chiara Esposito, while Kendra Woodland stopped 30 of 31 Panthers shots in regulation play, earning Tim Horton's Player of the Game honours. Sarah Forsythe made 26 stops in net for the Panthers.

The StFX X-Women bettered the Universite de Moncton Aigles Bleues 3-1 on Friday in Moncton. Maggy Burbidge, Joanna Martinsen and Ashlyn Garnett recorded goals for the X-Women, while Clemence Dumesnil scored the lone goal for the Aigles Bleues. Amaya Giraudier made 38 saves for the visitors, while Audrey Berthiaume made 31 saves in net for Moncton.

The X-Women then hosted the St. Thomas Tommies Sunday in a matinee matchup, where the Tommies picked up a hard-fought 3-1 win. The loss snapped a three-game winning streak for the X-Women. Aislynn Byers, Natalie MacKay (SH) and Jacey Dane (PP) all found the back of the net for the Tommies in the win, while StFX's lone goal was a powerplay tally from Maggy Burbidge.

The Tommies split their weekend games as the Tigers escaped with a 4-3 shootout win against the Tommies on Saturday night at the Halifax Forum. Dalhousie held a 3-1 in the third, but with over two minutes remaining in regulation, Claire Dimegeers put the Tommies within one. With the Tommies goalie pulled, Ekaterina Pelowich buried the puck into the back of the net with just four seconds remaining on the clock, for her second goal of the game. Despite multiple chances in overtime, the game went into a shootout, with Olivia Eustace sniping top shelf to win it for the Tigers. Goals in regulation came from Dalhousie's Kennedy Whelan, Olivia Eustace and Emma Bishop.

The Mounties picked up their first win of the season as they topped the UPEI Panthers 2-1 in a shootout Friday night. UPEI's Sophie Bujold found the back of the net on the Panther powerplay early into the first. After a scoreless second, Mount Allison's Katie Bouwman tied things up just over three minutes remaining in regulation. The final few minutes of regulation and five minutes of 3-on-3 overtime were not enough to settle it. In the shootout, it was Chelsea Krahenbil who ended things, giving the Mounties the win. Hanna Pagdato received Player of the Game honours for her performance in the Mounties goal.
