X-Women clinch playoff bye

With a 4-1 win over the league-leading St. Thomas Tommies and a 2-1 victory over the UPEI Panthers, the StFX X-Women clinched second place in the AUS women's hockey standings and a playoff bye. In their victory over the Tommies, goaltender Carley Molnar took home first star and Subway player of the game honours with her 22 save performance. 

The Saint Mary's Huskies finished the regular season on a three-game win streak as they blanked the Dalhousie Tigers 5-0 on Friday evening, and earned a 2-1 overtime victory over the Mount Allison Mounties Sunday afternoon. 

The Universite de Moncton Aigles Bleues claimed the final playoff spot as they swept their weekend games. The Aigles Bleues played to a 4-1 victory at home over the UNB Reds Wednesday evening, then went on to defeat the Mounties 2-1 on Saturday night.

The UPEI Panthers shutout the Reds 3-0 on Saturday evening, with Camille Scherger stopping all 20 shots she faced to be named Subway Player of the Game.
