In Wednesday night women's hockey action, the Dalhousie Tigers played host to their cross-town rivals, the Saint Mary's Huskies in the Pink in the Rink breast cancer awareness matchup. The Halifax Forum was packed with fans from both sides donning their pink attire. (ANTIGONISH, N.S.) In a clash of nationally ranked teams, the No. 6 StFX X-Women defeated the No. 3 Saint Mary's Huskies 2-1 in a tight overtime encounter on Saturday evening at the Charles V. Moncton 4 vs. Mount Allison 0 (Box Score)
(SACKVILLE, N.B.) The Universite de Moncton Aigles Bleues blanked the visiting Mount Allison Mounties Sunday afternoon. Moncton's Cassandra Labrie opened the scoring at the 8:23 mark of the opening frame with a powerplay tally. Goals from Marie-Pier Corriveau and Maelle Rioux allowed the Aigles Bleues to hold a 3-0 edge heading into the final period. Judyane Bernier netted the fourth goal of the night, just over a minute into the third, to give the Aigles Bleues the 4-0 win.
