Wednesday, January 27

UPEI 0 at Moncton 4 (Box Score)

The Moncton Aigles Bleues hosted the UPEI Panthers for Bell Let's Talk Day. The Aigles Bleues opened the scoring with a tally from sophomore forward Brittany Poitras at 08:09 into the opening frame. In the second period, Moncton fifth-year forward Marie-Pier Arsenault put the Aigles Bleues ahead by two, followed by a power-play goal from teammate Katherine Dubuc to give Moncton a 3-0 edge heading into the final frame. At 04:49 into the third, Moncton's Marie-Pier Arsenault put the Aigles Bleues ahead 4-0, as they held on for the victory at home. In net for the Aigles Bleues was third-year goaltender Gabrielle Forget, stopping all 26 shots she faced, earning the shutout.

Saint Mary's 4 at StFX 1 (Box Score)

The Saint Mary's Huskies travelled to Antigonish on Wednesday evening to take on the StFX X-Women for Bell Let's Talk Day. The Huskies were the first on the board with a tally from freshman forward Hayley Hallihan just 02:29 into the opening frame. At the 05:19 mark of the first, StFX third-year forward Daley Oddy put the X-Women on the board to tie the game at 1-1 heading into the second. At the 03:44 mark in the second, Saint Mary's fourth-year forward Caitlyn Schell put the Huskies ahead by one, followed by a goal from teammate Breanna Lanceleve to give the Huskies the 3-1 edge heading into the final 20 minutes of regulation. In the third, a tally from Saint Mary's third-year forward Nicole Blanche gave the Huskies the three goal lead, as they held on to earn the 4-1 victory on the road.

Saturday, January 30

Mount Allison 3 at Dalhousie 2 (Box Score)

The Dalhousie Tigers hosted the Mount Allison Mounties at the Halifax Forum on Friday evening. The Mounties opened the scoring in the first period with a goal from fourth-year forward Amanda Volcko at the 03:17 mark, holding the 1-0 lead heading into the second frame. After a scoreless second period, the Mounties extended their lead to two with a tally at 02:43 into the third from fourth-year forward Mackenzie Lalonde. The Tigers got on the board with a power-play tally from fourth-year defenceman  Laura Brooks at the 14:17 mark, putting them within one. At 16:34, a goal from Mount Allison freshman forward Heather Richards allowed the Mounties to regain their two goal lead. With just 34 seconds remaining in regulation, power-play goal from Dalhousie's third-year forward Courtney Sheedy put the Tigers within one, but it would not be enough as the Mounties held on for the 3-2 victory.

Mount Allison 1 at Moncton 5 (Box Score)

The Mount Allison Mounties faced the Moncton Aigles Bleues on Sunday afternoon. The Aigles Bleues opened the scoring early in the first with a goal just 24 seconds into regulation from fifth-year forward Marie-Pier Arsenault. Just over two minutes later, a tally from Monton's Natacha Bergeron put the Aigles Bleues ahead 2-0 heading into the second. In the middle frame, the Mounties got on the board with a goal from fourth-year defenceman Kelsey Taylor to cut the Aigles Bleues lead to one. At the 18:29 mark, the Aigles Bleues regained their two goal lead with a power-play goal from sophomore defenceman Cassandra Labrie. In the final period of regulation, Moncton's Marie-Pier Corriveau put the Aigles Bleues ahead by three, followed by a power-play tally from teammate Kaitlyn Gallaway, allowing the Aigles Bleues to earn the 5-1 victory at home.

Dalhousie 1 at Saint Mary's 4 (Box Score)

The Saint Mary's Huskies hosted the Dalhousie Tigers on Sunday afternoon. After a scoreless first and second period, Saint Mary's sophomore forward Mary Worndl opened the scoring in the third with a tally at the 04:01 mark. At 08:27 into the final frame, a power-play goal from Dalhousie third-year forward Elizabeth MacArthur tied the game at 1-1. The Huskies regained their lead at the 11:48 mark with a goal from forward Caitlyn Manning, followed by a power-play tally from teammate Breanna Lanceleve, extending their lead to two. With just 15 seconds remaining in regulation, an empty-net goal from Saint Mary's Caitlyn Manning and her second of the game allowed the Huskies to earn the 4-1 victory.

UPEI 2 at St. Thomas 4 (Box Score)

The UPEI Panthers travelled to Fredericton on Sunday afternoon to face the St. Thomas Tommies. The Tommies opoened the scoring in the first period with a power-play tally from freshman defenceman Jessica McCann at the 03:51 mark. A goal from Tommies fourth-year forward Emily Francis later in the first allowed St. Thomas to take a 2-0 lead heading into the second. In the middle frame, UPEI fourth-year forward Kiana Strand put the Panthers on the board, followed by a tally from teammate Andie Boeckman to tie the game at 2-2 heading into the final 20 minutes of regulation. At the 13:31 mark of the third period, St. Thomas sophomore forward Stephanie Ford got the go-ahead goal for the Tommies. With just over a minute in regulation, St. Thomas fourth-year forward Kelty Apperson netted a short-handed empty-net goal for the Tommies, allowing them to earn the 4-2 victory at home.
