Mount Allison Mounties receiver Malik Richards is the Atlantic University Sport football offensive player of the week for the week ending Oct. 29, 2017.
A third-year arts student from Brampton, Ont., Richards had four receptions for 90 yards and two touchdowns in Mount Allison's 26-25 win over the Saint Mary's Huskies Saturday in Halifax.
In seven games played for the Mounties this season, Richards averaged 5.3 receptions and 86.9 receiving yards per game.

Mount Allison Mounties linebacker Damien Halstead has been named the AUS football defensive player of the week.
A fourth-year sociology student in his third year of eligibility from Brampton, Ont., Halstead was named Subway Player of the Game in Mount Allison's 26-25 win over Saint Mary's Saturday.
He had three quarterback sacks on defence for the Mounties, three tackles for loss and 15 total loss yards.
Halstead had 8.0 tackles in the game—seven solo and two assisted—as well as a forced fumble.

Saint Mary's Huskies kicker Brian Hope is the AUS football special teams player of the week for the week ending Oct. 29, 2017.
A second-year arts student from Port Coquitlam, B.C., Hope tied the AUS all-time record for field goals made in a single game, with six made on six attempts, in Saint Mary's 26-25 loss to Mount Allison Saturday.
He also made good on his lone point-after attempt for 19 total points in the game.
Hope joins current records holders Neil Ellison and Mark Dalla Riva—both former Saint Mary's standouts. Ellison set the record with six field goals made in a single game in 1980. Dalla Riva tied his record in 1996.
