The UNB Reds have extended their win streak to three with weekend wins over the Mount Allison Mounties and Université de Moncton Aigles Bleues, allowing them to secure a playoff position.

A hattrick from Danika Lefebvre led the UNB Reds to a 6-0 win over the Mount Allison Mounties Friday night. Other goals came from Cierra Thomas, Abby Sullivan and Olivia Rowinski. Reds goalie Brynn Nash finished the night with 7 saves for the shutout victory.

The Reds then edged the Aigles Bleues 3-2 in Fredericton Sunday afternoon. Lefebvre led UNB once again with a pair of goals in the victory. Rachael Burton also scored for the Reds in the win, with Catherine Dupuis adding two goals of her own for Moncton in the loss.

The Acadia Axewomen still remain undefeated on the season with a 9-0-2 record to sit in first place. They topped the Saint Mary's Huskies Friday evening with a 4-1 win. Acadia was led by Madicynn Harnish, Lauren Jodrey, Grace Longley and Jenna Boudreau who all found the back of the net, with Saint Mary's getting credited for a team goal in the loss.
