Capers come back to top Sea-Hawks 76-71

(ST. JOHN'S, N.L.) - The Cape Breton Capers came back from a eight-point fourth quarter deficit to defeat the Memorial Sea-Hawks 76-71 in AUS men's basketball on Saturday night in St. John's.

Seth Amoah scored nine points in the fourth quarter to lead the Capers comeback.

Meshack Lufile led the Capers with 18 points in the win while Amoah added 15 to earn Subway Player of the Game honours for the Capers.

Vasilije Curcic led Memorial with 22 points and 10 rebounds in the loss. Alpha Kisusi had 14 points and five assists for the Sea-Hawks. Curcic was named player of the game for the Sea-Hawks.  

Memorial led 37-31 at the half.

The two teams will face one another again today at 1 p.m.
