Offensive Player of the Week
Name: Caleb Fogarty

STFX X-Men running back Caleb Fogarty is the Atlantic University Sport Football Offensive Player of the Week for the week ending Nov. 12, 2023.
A fourth-year Business student in his third year of eligibility, Fogarty helped his X-Men capture their third straight AUS Loney Bowl Football Championship on Saturday.
He recorded 107 yards rushing on 21 carries and added a touchdown to be named the game's recipient of the Don Loney Championship MVP Award.
STFX will now move on to the U SPORTS national semi-final this Saturday where they will take on the University of British Columbia in the Mitchell Bowl. Kick off is set for 4 p.m. AT.
Defensive Player of the Week
Name: Brandyn Martin
University: St. Francis Xavier University
Position: Defensive Back
Hometown: Melfort, SK
Year of eligibility: Fourth
Academic program: Education
Height and weight: 6'0", 202lbs
STFX X-Men defensive back Brandyn Martin is the Atlantic University Sport Football Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending Nov. 12, 2023.
Martin, from Melfort, SK, helped his X-Men to their third consecutive AUS Loney Bowl title this past weekend with some great work on the field.
Martin recorded a total of 8.5 tackles (8 solo, 1 assisted), including a sack for an 11-yard loss.
STFX will now move on to the U SPORTS national semi-final this Saturday where they will take on the University of British Columbia in the Mitchell Bowl. Kick off is set for 4 p.m. AT.
Special Teams Player of the Week
Name: Dyton Blackett
University: St. Francis Xavier University
Position: Linebacker
Hometown: Canning, N.S.
Year of eligibility: Fifth
Academic program: BBA
Height and weight: 6'3", 230lbs
STFX X-Men linebacker Dyton Blackett was named the Atlantic University Sport Football Special Teams Player of the Week for the week ending Nov. 12, 2023.
Blackett, a sixth year Business student (5th year eligibility) from Canning, NS, was dominant on special teams for the X-Men in what was a physical contest that ended with them defeating Bishop's University 32-23 to win the AUS Loney Bowl championship.
He was outstanding on kick-off and punt coverage, and in his game decision-making regarding punt protection calls.
STFX will now move on to the U SPORTS national semi-final this Saturday where they will take on the University of British Columbia in the Mitchell Bowl. Kick off is set for 4 p.m. AT.
