UNB forward Katelyn Scott is the Atlantic University Sport Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending Oct. 13, 2024.
Scott, a Business student from Almonte, Ont., has shown no signs of a sophomore slump after her fine rookie campaign last season, as she recorded a combined five points in two victories this past weekend.
She started the weekend with a goal and an assist in UNB’s 2-1 overtime win over St. Thomas, and then followed that up with another goal and two more assists in a 6-1 decision over UPEI.
Just four games into the AUS regular season and Scott leads the league in scoring with seven points (4 goals, 3 assists).
Scott’s REDS return to action this weekend with a pair of home games – Oct. 18 against STFX and Oct. 19 against Mount Allison. Puck drop on both games is set for 7 p.m. ADT.

UNB forward Peter Reynolds is the Atlantic University Sport Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending Oct. 13, 2024.
Reynolds, a first-year Business student from Fredericton, NB, netted three goals to help his REDS to two wins this past weekend.
In Friday’s 8-2 victory over Moncton, Reynolds scored a pair of goals – one coming in the first period to make it 2-0 and the second in the final period while short-handed to round out the scoring.
A night later, Reynolds cashed in on the power play to open the scoring in UNB’s 3-1 win over UPEI.
He was also a combined 7-for-8 in the face-off circle all weekend long.
UNB hits the road this weekend for a pair of games – Oct. 18 against the Acadia Axemen and Oct. 19 against the Saint Mary’s Huskies.
