Memorial University forward Zoë Rowe is the Atlantic University Sport Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending Oct. 6, 2024.
The product of Conception Bay South, NL had a big weekend for the Sea-Hawks, collecting a combined seven points in two victories.
In their 5-0 win over Moncton, Rowe had a hand in each goal – scoring three of her own and assisting on the two others. A day later, she added two more goals late in the game to break a 1-1 tie and secure the 3-1 win over Moncton.
Rowe sits tied for second in league scoring with nine goals and three assists.
The Sea-Hawks return to action Oct. 18-19 when they host the Mount Allison Mounties in their final two games of the regular season.

Moncton Aigles Bleus forward Mika Cyr is the Atlantic University Sport Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending Oct. 6, 2024.
Cyr, a Physical Education student, recorded a combined two goals and two assists in his team’s two victories this past weekend. In Friday’s season-opening 6-3 win over STFX, Cyr scored once and added two assists.
The next night, Cyr scored a goal as his team defeated Dalhousie 6-0.
The Aigles Bleus will return to action this week with a game Wednesday night against the host UPEI Panthers before hosting UNB on Friday, Oct. 11. Both games are scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. ADT.

Cyr, étudiant en éducation physique, a enregistré deux buts et deux passes dans les deux victoires de son équipe le week-end dernier. Vendredi, lors de la victoire 6-3 contre STFX, Cyr a marqué un but et ajouté deux passes.
Le lendemain soir, Cyr a marqué but dans la victoire de 6 à 0 de son équipe contre Dalhousie.
Les Aigles Bleus reprendront l'action cette semaine avec un match mercredi soir contre les Panthères de l'UPEI, avant d'accueillir l'UNB le vendredi 11 octobre. Les deux matchs débuteront à 19 h HAA.
