In Week 3 of men's soccer action, the Cape Breton Capers earned their fourth straight victory, while the Université de Moncton Aigles Bleus picked up four points with a win and a draw.

Due to Hurricane Lee's impact this weekend, the Capers hit the field just once, playing to a 3-1 win over the Dalhousie Tigers on Wickwire Field Friday night. Ze Cunha and Owen Sheppard found the back of the net in the win, while Luke Berryman scored the lone goal for the Tigers.

The Aigles Bleus kicked off the weekend at home, blanking the visiting UPEI Panthers 2-0. The Aigles Bleus scored goals in each half, coming from Robert Kamano and Ashraf Achkra, while Mattéo Blanc made four saves to record the shutout.

Moncton then hosted the Acadia Axemen Sunday afternoon, where the teams played to a scoreless draw. Blanc made four saves in net for the home team, while Dylan Legere made one save for the Axemen.

The StFX X-Men remain in second in the standings as they blanked the Mount Allison Mounties 5-0 Friday night. StFX rode a four-goal first half to victory, with goals coming from Kyle Cordiero (2), Jack Kennedy, Nicolas Goldsztein and Logan Rieck, while Samuel Diltz made one save for the shutout. With his two goals and assist in the first half, Kyle Cordeiro earned Player of the Game honours.

The Memorial Sea-Hawks hosted the Saint Mary's Huskies in St. John's this weekend, where the teams split the games, picking up three points apiece. Saturday afternoon, Saint Mary's defender Ben-Orel Mugisha scored a stoppage-time winner as the Huskies topped the Sea-Hawks 2-1. Other goals in the match came from Huskies' Sean Freeman and Memorial's Cabhan O'Keefe.

The Sea-Hawks bounced back to blank the Huskies 3-0 Sunday afternoon. Jacob Grant found the back of the net twice in the victory, with teammate Troy Petrie adding a tally. Louis-Charles Vaillancourt made two saves for Memorial for the shutout.

The UNB Reds and Acadia Axemen played to a 0-0 draw on Saturday afternoon in a shortened game. The match was called by the officials at the 75th-minute mark due to unplayable conditions caused by Post Tropical Storm Lee. Before the end of the match, Dylan Legere had an impressive eight saves in net for Acadia, while Mahmoud Moustafa made two saves on the Reds side.
