The UNB Reds skated to their eleventh-straight victory as they continue to dominate the AUS women's hockey standings with a 10-0-1 record on the season.

The Reds edged the Université de Moncton Aigles Bleues Wednesday night as Tamina Kehler scored twice, including the winning goal, to lead the U SPORTS No. 1 ranked Reds in a 3-2 victory. Kehler earned Subway Player of the game honours for her effort. Lauren Carter also found the back of the net in the win, while Sara Regimbald and Emilie Comeau recorded tallies for Moncton in the loss.

The Reds then won the battle of the top two AUS women's hockey teams with a close 2-1 victory over the No. 6 ranked StFX X Women Saturday night at the Keating Centre in Antigonish. The game was a tightly played, low-scoring affair between the top squads, with X-Women goalie Jamie Johnson and Reds backstop Kendra Woodland both standing on their heads, making 20 and 33 saves respectively. Lillian George's shorthanded marker at 14:50 of the second period held up as the game-winner for the Reds, while Talli Warren added a tally for UNB and Maggy Burbidge scored the lone goal for StFX.

Despite the loss to the Reds, the X-Women split their games, playing to a 3-1 win over the St. Thomas Tommies Friday night in Antigonish. The X-Women got out to a 2-0 lead after 20 minutes of play, outshooting the Tommies 13-9 in the first period, with goals coming from Chloe Vukosa and Maggy Burbidge. St. Thomas' Erin Arsenault cut StFX's lead in half in the second, but it would not be enough as Vukosa scored her second of the night to secure the 3-1 win for the home team.

The Saint Mary's Huskies earned their third-straight victory this week, first edging the UPEI Panthers 3-2 in Charlottetown Friday night. A pair of first-year players, forward Mackenzie Beggs and goaltender Ridleigh Hansen, had excellent games to power the Huskies to victory. Beggs was named Subway Player of the Game with a goal and an assist, while teammates Jillian Duggan and Shae Demale added tallies in the win. Ruby Loughton (PP) and Orianna MacNeil (PP) got on the board for the Panthers, while Hansen made 27 saves in net for the Huskies.

The Huskies then blanked the St. Thomas Tommies 3-0 Saturday night. Huskies forward Mary McDonald was named Subway Player of the Game with two goals on the night. Teammate Ellen Laurence added a tally in the win, while Ridleigh Hansen made 16 saves for the shutout victory.

The Panthers split their games this week, doubling the Mount Allison Mounties 4-2 Wednesday night. Subway Player of the Game McKinley Nelson from the Panthers finished with two points – one goal and one assist. Teammates Carly Thompson, Lexie Murphy and Chiara Esposito (SH) recorded tallies in the win, while Chelsea Krahenbil and Rachael Carson found the back of the net in the loss.

The Mounties bounced back Saturday night, blanking the Dalhousie Tigers 1-0 to earn their first win of the season. Bianca Zak earned Subway player of the game honours for Mount Allison after her 36-save shutout propelled the Mounties to victory. Mount Allison's lone goal came from Tallon Stephenson.

In the only Sunday afternoon game, the Tigers edged the Aigles Bleues 3-2 in Moncton. Gabrielle Noordijk, was named Subway player of the game for the Tigers, as she racked up a goal and her eighth assist of the season in the contest, tying her for third in the AUS. Olivia Eustace and Paige Coulter-Vansickle both scored for Dalhousie, while Catherine Longchamps and Shani Rossignol both recorded powerplay tallies for Moncton in the loss.
