The StFX X-Men have earned their fourth-straight victory in AUS men's soccer action, to now sit atop the standings with 12 points.

The X-Men opened their weekend in Sackville, as they edged the Mount Allison Mounties 4-1. StFX goals came from Ziad Abdelrahman, Kyle Cordeiro, Cameron Shaw and Lewis Dye. Tevin Lewis scored the lone goal for Mount Allison in the loss.

StFX then traveled to Charlottetown Sunday afternoon, where the X-Men scored three first-half goals and never let up, as they shut out the UPEI Panthers 3-0. Samuel Barrowcliffe was at the forefront of all the action as the rookie forward scored once and assisted on the other two goals. He earned Subway Player of the Game honours for his efforts. Other StFX goals came from Logan Rieck and Kyle Cordeiro, while William Veinot earned a shutout in the net for the X-Men.

The Capers traveled to St. John's this weekend, where they earned back-to-back victories over the Memorial Sea-Hawks. They kicked things off with a 2-0 win over the Sea-Hawks Saturday afternoon.

The Cape Breton Capers have earned three-straight victories to now hold a 3-0-1 record on the season after playing to a draw on their first game of the season. The Capers got out of the gate fast, controlling possession early and converting on their first chance in the box, as midfielder Jacob Spizzirri was able to find a loose ball and quickly fire it into the back of the net in the 8th minute. Shortly after, the Capers were able to add another tally, scoring in the 22nd minute off a nice strike by Owen Sheppard off an assist by Ze Cunha. Daniel Clarke earned the shutout in net for the Capers.

Sunday afternoon, Cape Breton ended their weekend with a 5-1 victory over Memorial. Cape Breton goals in the win came from Spizzirri, Sheppard, Cunha (2) and Jamie Watson, while Cabhan O'Keefe scored the lone goal for the Sea-Hawks in the loss. Capers goalkeeper Jordan Watkins stopped 5/6 shots directed at his net, while Sea-Hawks netminder Daniel Hanlon denied 5/9 shots from the Cape Breton attack.

The Saint Mary's Huskies earned back-to-back victories this weekend, first edging the Panthers 3-2 in Charlottetown Saturday. Huskies' Sean Freeman was a force to be reckoned with Saturday afternoon, as the sophomore winger recorded a hattrick in the win. Jonathan MacKenzie and Kasper Lasia found the back of the net for UPEI in the loss.

Sunday afternoon, the Huskies proved to be too much to handle for the Mounties as they blanked Mount Allison 4-0. Goals in the victory came from Saint Mary's Neil Spires, Cian Tousignant-Osiadhail, Ahmed Ibrahim and Sean Freeman, while Ryan Davis made three saves in net for the shutout. Subway Player of the Game was fifth-year veteran midfielder Cian Tousignant-Osiadhail (Timberlea, NS).

The UNB Reds earned four points this weekend, walking away with a draw and a win. They played to a 1-1 draw against the Dalhousie Tigers Saturday. The visiting Tigers opened the scoring in the 8th minute when striker Luke Berryman beat UNB keeper Louis-Charles Vaillancourt, however, the home team tied the score in the 13th minute. Off a free kick, Keji Adeniyi corralled the ball in the Tigers' box and hammered it to the top of the Dal net. Reds' wing back Justin Brown earned Subway Player of the Game honours in the match.

The Reds bounced back Sunday afternoon, as Keji Adeniyi and Luke Rosettani each scored twice to lead UNB in a 5-1 win over the Dalhousie Tigers. Adeniyi scored in the 11th and 22nd minutes, earning Subway Player of the Game honours. Roan Saengmeng added a tally for the home team, while Mohammed Jaber scored the lone goal for Dalhousie in the loss.

A late goal in the second half from Mohamed Lamoine Touré allowed the Université de Moncton's Aigles Bleus to play to a 2-2 tie game with the Acadia Axemen Saturday afternoon.
