(SACKVILLE, NB) Danika Lefebvre (Fredericton, NB) scored three times to lead the UNB Reds in a 6-0 win over the Mount Allison Mounties on Friday.

The visiting Reds took a commanding 5-0 lead into the locker room at half-time and added one more in the second half.

Lefebvre scored in the 8th minute to give the Reds an early lead, as the teams traded chances.

The wide open style continued and the Reds were able to capitalize again in the 14th minute when Cierra Thomas (London, ON) scored.

Abby Sullivan (Orleans, Mass.) scored the Reds' third goal three minutes later. Lefebvre got her second goal of the game in the 35th minute and then completed the hat trick with her third goal in the 43rd minute.

UNB finished the scoring, in the 70th minute, when Olivia Rowinski (Fredericton, NB) scored her first goal of the season, and first of her Atlantic University Sport career, off a Sylvie Fecteau (Moncton, NB) corner kick.

Brynn Nash (Saskatoon, SK) and Lauren Kelly (Fredericton, NB) shared the clean sheet for the Reds.

The Mounties will travel to Dalhousie on Sunday for their next action, while UNB will host Moncton on Sunday afternoon. Game time is scheduled for 1:00pm.
