Mounties lose at home to Moncton

The UdeM Aigles Bleus defeated the Mount Allison Mounties 4-1 at Alumni Field in AUS men's soccer action on Wednesday night.

The game remained scoreless until the 37^th minute when Philippe Gallant found the back of the net to give Moncton a 1-0 lead. The Mounties answered in the 45^th minute when Tevin Lewis scored to knot the score at 1-1. For Lewis, this was his 2^nd goal in as many games.

Moncton regained the lead when Philippe Gallant scored his 2^nd of the night and then the lead was extended to 3-1 when Jeremie Imbeault scored in the 55^th minute. Younesse Chibane rounded out the scoring with a marker in the 80^th minute to give Moncton a 4-1 lead.

With the win Moncton (3-3-1) sits in a tie for 6^th place in the AUS standings.

The Mounties will now take Thanksgiving weekend off before returning to action on Saturday, October 16^thwhen they host UPEI at Alumni Field. Moncton will see their next action on Saturday, October 16^th when they host Saint Mary's.
