The Dalhousie Tigers closed out their regular season schedule on Saturday afternoon with a 1-1 draw against the UEPI Panthers as the team celebrated Senior Night.

As the match began, the teams were mostly trading field position until Alyson Bodner (Edmonton, AB) was able to get the first good scoring chance, tipping the ball on goal from inside the box in the 11' minute. The Panthers got their first good rush towards the goal in the 18' minute as Caitlyn McCloskey (North Wiltshire, PEI) went streaking down the far side of the field, but the Tigers' defense was able to shut down the cross attempt.

The Tigers would go on the attack again, earning a free kick in the 20' minute, resulting in a point-blank shot from Bodner which Panthers goaltender Claudia Mazzei (Milton, PEI) was able to get a piece of. The play resulted in two consecutive corner kicks for the Tigers, however they were unable to convert as the match remained scoreless. Over the next ten minutes, it was all Tigers' generating a few chances towards the goal and several more corner kicks. The Panthers would end the half making their way down the field, directing a couple shots towards the goal, but being relatively safe balls, Tigers goaltender Annabel Gravley (Toronto, ON) had all the answers. The half would conclude with the Tigers' getting one more shot on Mazzei, but another save would secure a 0-0 half.

The Tigers came out flying for the second half, immediately getting a rush resulting in a free kick just outside the box, in the 47' minute. The momentum would pay off for the Tigers, as Chloe Richardson (Calgary, AB) burst in and placed a shot perfectly inside the far post to give Dalhousie a 1-0 lead in the 51' minute. Richardson would continue to provide the offense, as she broke in for another rush just minutes later. As the half progressed, the Tigers would keep pushing for an insurance marker resulting in several more free kicks and corner kicks but the Panthers defense was able to keep it a one goal match.

As the match winded down, the Panthers would find their way down the field several times in an attempt to tie it up. In the 85', the Panthers would find themselves in the box and a shot by Olivia Cummings (Quispamsis, NB) would result in a corner kick. Off the corner, the Panthers would finally find a way through the crowd, as Cummings would finish the offensive possession as well, depositing a header in the back of the net, tying the match 1-1. In the 90', the Tigers would have one last chance to secure the win with a free kick, however time would expire, and the match ended in a 1-1 draw.
