(St. John's, N.L.) The Dalhousie Tigers women and men’s curling teams remain perfect through day two at the AUS Curling Championships at the RE/MAX Centre St. John’s Curling Club.
The Dalhousie women needed an extra end to defeat the X-Women in draw 3, while coasting to a 12-5 victory in draw 4 over Saint Mary’s. The UNB Reds are the only other team with a perfect record through two days. The Reds are 4-0 after defeating the Sea-Hawks and Mounties on day 2.
The Dalhousie men started the day with an 8-2 victory over UNB, followed by a 12-4 win over X in draw 4. Saint Mary’s is one game behind the first place Tigers, while the Sea-Hawks round out the top 3 with a 2-2 record thus far.
