A fifth-year keeper from St. John’s, Newfoundland, Walsh played an integral role in organizing the Sea-Hawks’ defence units on Friday night, helping her team finish with a 0-0 draw against the host Dalhousie Tigers. Her nine saves led the Sea-Hawks to earn a valuable point under challenging weather conditions.
The Sea-Hawks are back in action this weekend when they host the STFX X-Women.

Aiden Rushenas of the Dalhousie Tigers men’s soccer team is the Subway Atlantic University Sport male athlete of the week for the week ending September 25, 2022.
A second-year keeper from Toronto, Ontario, Rushenas led Dalhousie to a 2-0 victory over the Memorial Sea-Hawks on a wet and windy Friday night in Halifax. This win marked his second shutout of the season; Rushenas recorded three saves.
The Tigers take the field again on Friday night when they travel to Sackville, New Brunswick to face the Mount Allison Mounties.
