In Thursday’s 81-73 quarterfinal win over the STFX X-Women, Veinot showed fans why she was named the 2021-22 AUS women’s basketball most valuable player earlier in the week, adding 30 points, four assists and two rebounds to the Axewomen’s stats sheet. On Saturday, she helped push her team to their fifth consecutive AUS final by scoring 11 points alongside three rebounds, two assists, two steals and two blocks in the Axewomen’s 86-82 win over Saint Mary’s.

In the championship final, Veinot was in fine form again, posting 34 points, nine rebounds and two steals in the Axewomen’s 71-65 win over the Cape Breton Capers. She was clutch to an Axewomen come back with 23 of those points coming in the second half of the game when they erased a 14-point half-time deficit to their fellow finalists.
