PROFILE
Ashton Dickson has been a key component to the X-Men's ground offensive over the past four seasons. He heads into his fifth and final season of eligibility for 2015 and is expected to once again be a leader on StFX's offense.
In each of the past four seasons, Dickson has been the leading X-Men rusher, consistently placing amongst the top five rushers in the conference as well. In 2014 he was second overall in the AUS with 123 carries for 662 yards, averaging 94.6 yards per game and 5.4 yards per carry. He also scored three touchdowns as he earned AUS all-star status.
Another milestone he achieved in 2014 was breaking the StFX all-time career rushing record. He surpassed the previous record of 2304 yards held by James Green (2005-2009) and now sits 10th overall on the AUS all-time career rushing list with 2312.
Dickson is looking forward to the upcoming season, commenting, "Taking a look at the 2015 schedule, there is one thing that really stands out. This year we get to play against Laval at their home field. A lot of guys on our team are very excited for this opportunity because Laval is considered to be one of the best teams in the CIS. Last year we went up against the Montreal Carabins who eventually went on to win the Vanier Cup. Playing against such good teams gives our team a dose of what it takes to win a Vanier. This is also a chance to prove to everyone that the AUS can compete with anyone in the CIS."
He continues, "Looking at how my teammates have been training during the off-season my expectations are high for this season. Everyone is taking everything more seriously and we are extremely focused. The coaching staff has also improved with a new special teams coach with CFL experience. Also, after making it to the AUS final last year we are looking forward to getting back there this year. It's no secret that it has been a while since StFX has won the Loney Bowl and the other veterans and I want to be a part of the team that brings the Loney Bowl trophy back to StFX."

Pirates of the Caribbean, Jack Sparrow. Sorry I mean, "Captain" Jack Sparrow.
My biggest pet peeve is…?
Wet Willies. My older cousin used to do those to me all the time. Very, very frustrating.
My dream job is…?
I don't dream about working I dream about being extremely rich and wealthy with no job, but realistically I'm a football player so I'm going to say playing in the NFL.
My biggest fan is…?
My mom of course :)
