PROFILE
Andreas Robinson, a 6-foot-0, 190-pound defensive back from Dartmouth, N.S., is the newest football recruit to the 2015 Huskies squad.
Last year Robinson was a red shirt for the Simon Fraser Clan in the NCAA.
"We are thrilled to have a student athlete like Andreas join our family", said Huskies Head Coach, Perry Marchese. "He is going to be a great student, player and ambassador for our football program."
Robinson player high school football for Phillips Exeter Big Red in New Hampshire for three years, previous to Simon Fraser. During his time there he was named Class A Offensive Player of the Year and Team MVP.
Before heading to New Hampshire, Robinson played a season for the Halifax Citadel Pheonix where he was named Offensive Rookie of the Year.
"I am excited to be home and I am looking forward to taking the next steps at Saint Mary's, "explained Robinson.
He'll be back in Halifax in front of a hometown crowd when the Huskies hit the turf for their 2015 season.
