Axewomen clinch playoff berth with weekend sweep

With a 3-2 victory over the Universite de Moncton Aigles Bleues on Friday and a 3-1 win over the Saint Mary's Huskies on Sunday afternoon, the Acadia Axewomen have clinched a berth in the AUS women's volleyball playoffs. The Axewomen now have 22 points on the season with an 11-3 record.

The Dalhousie Tigers remain undefeated on the season, as they swept the Memorial Sea-Hawks in St. John's this weekend. Dalhousie played to a 3-0 victory over Memorial in three back-to-back games this weekend. The Tigers are now 14-0 with 28 points, and have clinched a berth in the playoffs.

The UNB Reds earned their sixth victory of the season on Saturday, topping the Aigles Bleues 3-0 in Fredericton on Saturday evening.
