(MONCTON, N.B.) - The Université de Moncton Aigles Bleues (3-11) fell 3-0 to the University of New Brunswick Varsity Reds (7-5) in an AUS women's volleyball game played Friday evening in the CEPS Louis-J.-Robichaud gymnasium.
Moncton lost 25-21, 25-20 and 25-16.
Christelle Bertin had 29 attacks and Geneviève LeBlanc, 26. LeBlanc also added 10 digs.
Victoria Eadle had 30 attacks for the Varsity Reds and Paige Nelmes added 19. Nelmes also had 10 digs.
Moncton has two games remaining, including one Friday Jan. 30 in Halifax against the Dalhousie Tigers at 6 p.m.
The Varsity Reds play Acadia Saturday, Jan. 24 and then travel to Halifax the following weekend to face the Saint Mary's Huskies Friday, Jan. 30 at 7 p.m. and the Dalhousie Tigers Saturday, Jan. 31 at 2 p.m.
