Axewomen and Capers remain tied at the top of the AUS standings

With a win and a draw over the Memorial Sea-Hawks, and a draw with the StFX X-Women this weekend, the Cape Breton Capers and Acadia Axewomen remain tied at the top of the AUS standings. 

The Capers visited the Memorial Sea-Hawks in St. John's over the weekend. On Saturday afternoon, the Capers walked away with a 1-0 victory with the lone goal coming from Rachel Yerxa. On Sunday afternoon, the Capers and Sea-Hawks played to a 0-0 draw, allowing the Capers to remain undefeated on the season. 

The Acadia Axewomen played just one game over the weekend, playing to a 0-0 draw against the StFX X-Women.

The UPEI Panthers earned a convincing 4-1 win over the Universite de Moncton Aigles Bleues on Friday night in Charlottetown, while the Dalhousie Tigers earned a 3-0 shutout win over the Mount Allison Mounties on Friday night at Wickwire Field. 

The Saint Mary's Huskies fell 2-1 to the UNB Reds Saturday, but avoided the weekend sweep with a 2-1 victory over the Mounties on Sunday afternoon.

On Sunday afternoon, the Reds visited the UPEI Panthers, playing to a 0-0 draw.
