(HALIFAX, N.S.) - The Memorial Sea-Hawks netted four goals over the Saint Mary's Huskies to clinch the win on Friday night at Huskies Stadium in AUS soccer action.

Rookie forward Emily Bailey scored the first goal of the game, and her second of the season in the 25th minute, assisted by Sea-Hawks' Maria Mackey and Melissa Reid.

The Huskies stepped it up and made four attempts to tie up the game in the next 10 minutes, but it was an offside play against Memorial that set up the next Sea-Hawks goal. Jane Pope took the penalty kick, netting her first goal of the season in the 38th minute.

The second half of the game saw a goal from Memorial defensive player Claire Skanes sinking the ball in the 58th minute, assisted by Pope. The Sea-Hawks wasted no time securing their lead, bringing the score to 4-0 just three minutes later by forward Jessie Noseworthy, with assistance from rookie mid-fielder Terry Murphy.

Both teams kept the heat going the entire game, with a total of 14 shots on goal by Memorial, and just one less from Saint Mary's. Hannah Noseworthy was the difference for Memorial, preventing all attempts from hitting the back of the net.
