(WOLFVILLE, N.S.) - The CIS No. 6-ranked Acadia Axewomen remain undefeated after two weeks of competition in AUS women's rugby after handing the visiting Saint Mary's Huskies a 115-0 defeat.
The Axewomen scored a total of 19 tries with second-year centre and Subway player of the game Shannon White scoring a team-high four tries.
"This was a better showing than last weekend and the girls came prepared," said White. "Now it is back to practice to focus on StFX."
Acadia will play host to StFX (2-0) next Saturday, Sept. 20 at 7 p.m.
The Axewomen lost in double overtime last season to StFX in the AUS championship game after splitting the season in regular season games against the X-Women.
The Huskies will travel to UPEI for their next matchup, also Saturday, at 2 p.m.
