The UNB Reds and Cape Breton Capers remain undefeated on the early AUS women's basketball season, to sit at the top of the AUS women's basketball standings. The Reds defeated the Dalhousie Tigers 75-71 on Friday, and 75-56 on Saturday, while the Capers topped the StFX X-Women 82-63 on Saturday.
The Acadia Axewomen hosted the UPEI Panthers for back-to-back games this weekend, in which they split. The Axewomen earned a close 73-70 win on Friday night, while the Panthers came out on top on Saturday with a 70-62 victory.
The Memorial Sea-Hawks earned a weekend sweep at home as they hosted the Saint Mary's Huskies with a 68-42 win on Saturday, and a 85-75 victory on Sunday afternoon.
