Season overview: X-Women head coach Augy Jones says Kilyk's best defensive effort so far this season was against speedy newcomer Paloma Anderson of Acadia on Jan. 10. "Courtney did a great job of slowing down Paloma's hot hand in the second half," he said.
The third-year shooting guard from Fonthill, Ont. has played in all 13 of StFX's game so far this season.
She has grabbed 28 defensive rebounds and 12 steals for the X-Women defence thus far.
Coaches' comments: "Courtney has made great improvements over her three years at X. She is incredibly fit and very quick physically. Most importantly, she has increased her basketball IQ. She now combines her superior agility and game knowledge to be an outstanding 'on-the-ball' defender."
