After halftime, the Axewomen would fare no better against the AUS leading Saint Mary's, who extended their lead to 38, 63-25 entering the final frame.

In the fourth quarter, Acadia would put a dent into their deficit ending the game on a 14-4 run. In spite of the late run, the Axewomen fell 78-43.

Acadia's Subway player of the game Emily Macleod led the final run for the Acadia scoring 12 of her 17 points in the fourth. Macleod also added four rebounds and three steals.
