Dalhousie 3 at UNB 2 (Box Score)
The Tigers and the Varsity Reds faced off for the first of two weekend matches in Fredericton Friday. The back-and-forth battle had to be decided in a fifth set, with the Tigers taking the eventual 3-2 win.
Dalhousie won the first and third sets by scores of 25-18 and 25-15. UNB won the second set 25-21 and the fourth set 25-14.
In the final tiebreaking fith set, the Tigers managed narrowly topped the home team 15-13.
Dalhousie's Kristen O'Brien had 25.5 points, 23 kills and eight digs in the win.
Eivind Andersen contributed 20.5 points, 19 kills, and 13 digs in the loss for the Varsity Reds.

In their second of two weekend matchups, the Tigers earned another hard-fought 3-2 win.
Dalhousie won the first set 25-19. The Varsity Reds came back to win the second set 25-18 and the third set 25-27.
Dalhousie managed to win the fourth set 25-22 and take the win in the final set 15-6.
Kristen O'Brien led Dalhousie again with 23.5 points, 20 kills and 11 digs in the win. Matthew Donovan added 22 points, 17 kills and nine digs for the Tigers.
Eivind Andersen led UNB with 21 points, 17 kills and 10 digs in the loss.
