Tigers top Huskies 2-0

(HALIFAX, N.S.) The Dalhousie Tigers defeated the Saint Mary's Huskies 2-0 Saturday afternoon in Atlantic University Sport men's soccer action.

Dalhouse (2-1) scored late in the first half when Bezick Evraire potted an unassisted goal in the 43rd minute.

Saint Mary's  played an inspired second half but gave up a goal in the 79th minute by the Tigers' William Wright.

The Huskies forced Tigers goalkeeper Tristan Leopold into making six saves in the last 45 minutes and Leopold finished with seven saves.

Huskies goal keeper Adam Miller made four saves in the loss and leads all AUS keepers with 23 saves through three games.

Dalhousie outshot Saint Mary's (0-3), 15-14 for the game and held a 10-9 foul advantage.

Saint Mary's next action is a road trip Sunday, Sept. 14 whe they face Mount Allison.

The Tigers will visit the Cape Breton Capers in their next game Saturday, Sept. 20 at 3:15 p.m.
