StFX netminder Joseph Raaymakers turned aside 32 shots, recording his second shutout of the season in goal for the X-Men, while Peccia made 32 saves in the losing effort.

“I thought we played really well. I think in the first period, both teams were trying to figure things out. The second period, things got a little better,” said Raamakers. “That was a big goal in the second period. The Phillips line and Struthers. In the third I thought we just took over and our PK tonight was really good.”

With the win, StFX advances to play the winner of the Acadia and Alberta in the semifinals, while Brock is eliminated and ends their season with an overall record of (10-9-2) in the regular season, conference playoff and U SPORTS championship action.
