Wednesday, Nov. 16

UNB 6 at UPEI 2 (Box Score)

Cameron Brace was named Subway Player of the Game Wednesday after notching a hat trick in UNB's 6-2 win Wednesday over the UPEI Panthers in Charlottetown, P.E.I. Christopher Caissy had two goals and an assist in the win for the Varsity Reds. Christopher Clappert added one goal and one assist.

Acadia 2 at StFX 3 OT (Box Score)

The StFX X-Men earned a 3-2 overtime win at home Wednesday over the Acadia Axemen. StFX's Matt Needham and Acadia's Remy Giftopoulos exchanged goals in the opening frame. Eric Locke scored the go-ahead goal for the X-Men on the power play in the third period, but Matthew Pufahl tied things up with less than three minutes remaining to force the overtime.

Acadia's netminder Devin Williams was named the Subway First Star of the Game. StFX's Brandon Hope and Locke earned second and third star honours.

Friday, Nov. 18

UPEI 2 at Moncton 4 (Box Score)

The Aigles Bleus earned a 4-2 win at home over the UPEI Panthers Friday. Moncton's Allain Saulnier and Jean-Francois Plante scored a marker apiece in the opening frame. Panthers Marcus Power and Robert-Tye Rice tied things up in the second period with a goal each. But Alex Saulnier and Robbie Graham each scored in the final frame to secure the Moncton victory. 

Moncton netminder Brandon Thibeau was named the Subway Player of the Game.

Acadia 5 at Dalhousie 2 (Box Score)

The Axemen earned a 5-2 road win Friday over the Dalhousie Tigers at the Halifax Forum. Acadia's Boston Leier was named Subway First Star of the Game after notching the opening goal and adding two assists in the third period. Stephen Harper added two assists for Acadia and earned second star honours.

Dalhousie's Felix Page notched both of the Tigers' goals and was named the third star of the game.

Saint Mary's 5 at StFX 1 (Box Score)

The Saint Mary's Huskies earned a 5-1 win over the StFX X-Men in Antigonish, N.S., thanks to four unanswered goals in the opening frame. Huskies netminder Eric Brassard made 40 saves for Saint Mary's and was named the Subway First Star of the Game. Ben Duffy added four assists for the visitors and earned second star nods. 

StFX goalie Chase Marchand stopped 22 of 23 shots in just over 40 minutes of play and was named the third star of the game.

Saturday, Nov. 19

Dalhousie 3 at Saint Mary's 5 (Box Score)

The Huskies earned their second weekend win Saturday as they topped the Dalhousie Tigers 5-3. Ben Duffy was named the Subway First Star of the Game after notching two goals and adding an assist for Saint Mary's. Calder Brooks added a shorthanded goal and an assist for the Huskies and was named the game's second star.

Dalhousie's Andrew Wigginton had one goal in the loss and was named third star of the game.

Moncton 1 at UNB 9 (Box Score)

The Varsity Reds earned a decisive 9-1 win at home Saturday over the Moncton Aigles Bleus. UNB's Jordan Murray was named Subway First Star of the Game. He had a goal and two assists in the win. Cam Braes was named the game's second star after notching a hat trick and two assists for five points for the Varsity Reds. UNB's Philippe Maillet added two goals and two assists and was named the third star of the game.
