Wednesday, Nov. 2

Moncton 1 at Dalhousie 5 (Box Score)

The Tigers downed the Aigles Bleus 5-1 Wednesday in Halifax. Dalhousie's Fabian Walsh and Moncton's Robbie Graham exchanged goals in the opening frame.

The Tigers then went on to score four unanswered goals--three in the second period and a short-handed goal in the third. Dalhousie's Andrew Rieder, goaltender Corbin Boes and Myles McGurty were named the first, second and third stars of the game.

Friday, Nov. 4

Acadia 1 at UNB 5 (Box Score)

The UNB Varsity Reds downed the Acadia Axemen 5-1 at home Friday evening. Mike Thomas opened up the scoring for UNB in the first frame. Cameron Brace then added to the Varsity Reds' tally on the power play to start the second. 

Alexander Lepkowski responded with Acadia's lone goal. But UNB came back with two more goals in the second frame and another in the third to capture the win. 

Lepkowski was named the Subway First Star of the Game. UNB's Cam Braes and Alex Dubeau earned second and third star honours.

Saint Mary's 8 at UPEI 6 (Box Score)

The Huskies downed the Panthers 8-6 in a hard-fought back-and-forth battle Friday evening in Charlottetown. Six first-period goals got the game off to a fast start. Saint Mary's led 4-2 heading into the second frame. 

The Panthers battled back to within a point, closing out the second frame 6-5. But the Huskies sealed their fate in the final frame with two more goals to UPEI's one to take the 8-6 win. 

Hunter Garlent led the Huskies with a goal and three assists for four points. Bronson Beaton and Bradley Latour added a goal and two assists apiece in the win.

Darcy Ashley and JC Campagna had a goal and two assists each in the loss.

Dalhousie 1 at StFX 4 (Box Score)

The StFX X-Men topped the Dalhousie Tigers 4-1 at home Friday night. StFX had two goals in the first and second frames, respectively. Dalhousie's lone goal came in the second period. 

The Tigers' Myles McGurty was named the Subway First Star of the Game. StFX's Michael Clarke and Chase Marchand picked up second and third star honours in the win.

Saturday, Nov. 5

Saint Mary's 0 at UNB 5 (Box Score)

The UNB Varsity Reds earned a 5-0 victory over the Saint Mary's Huskies Saturday at home. After a scoreless first period, UNB scored three goals in the second and another two in the third to secure the win. 

UNB's Stephen Anderson had two goals and secured Subway First Star of the Game honours. Matt Petgrave had three assists and was named the second star of the game. UNB goaltender Etienne Marcoux earned third star honours and recorded the shutout.

StFX 4 at Moncton 2 (Box Score)

The StFX X-Men earned a 4-2 road win Saturday over the Moncton Aigles Bleus. Moncton opened the scoring with the first two goals of the game in the first frame. But StFX responded with four unanswered goals to secure the win. 

StFX goaltender Chase Marchand earned Subway First Star of the Game honours for the 29 saves he made in the win.

Acadia 2 at UPEI 3 (Box Score)

The UPEI Panthers earned a 3-2 win at home Saturday over the Acadia Axemen. UPEI's Cody Payne opened the scoring in the first period and Remy Giftopolous answered for the visitors. UPEI's Brock Beukeboom scored the lone goal of the second frame. Marcus Power notched the game winner in the final frame. Boston Leier responded for Acadia, but it would not be enough as the Axemen would fall 3-2.

Power earned Subway First Star of the Game nods for the game-winning goal.
