Wednesday, November 4

Moncton 3 at UPEI 5 (Box Score)

The Moncton Aigles Bleus visited the UPEI Panthers in Charlottetown on Wednesday evening. After a scoreless first period, the Aigles Bleus were the first onto the board in the second period, with a powerplay tally from third-year forward Allain Saulnier. Later in the second period, goals from Panthers third-year forward Nick Parker, freshman forward Chad Labelle (PP), and sophomore forward Brent Andrews allowed UPEI to take the 3-1 lead heading into the third. In the third period, Panthers Brent Andrews scored his second goal of the game, for the 4-1 edge. At the 6:47 mark, freshman Aigles Bleus defenceman Sebastien Gauthier scored for Moncton, followed by a tally from teammate Jean-Francois Plante, to cut UPEI's lead by one. However, a empty-net goal from Panthers Nelson Armstrong with under a minute left in the game allowed UPEI to edge Moncton for a 5-3 final.

StFX 4 at Saint Mary's 1 (Box Score)

The Saint Mary's Huskies hosted the StFX X-Men on Wednesday night. StFX got onto the board early in the first, with Nathan Pancel netting two goals in the frame, to give the X-Men the 2-0 lead heading into the second period. X-Men defenceman Trey Lewis scored the lone goal of the second period, putting StFX ahead by three. Halfway through the third frame, Mark Tremaine scored the X-Men's fourth goal of the game. With under five minutes left in the game, Stephen Beyers put the Huskies on the board, but it would not be as the X-Men claimed the 4-1 victory.

St. Thomas 2 at UNB 11 (Box Score)

The St. Thomas Tommies faced the UNB Varsity Reds on Wednesday, with the Varsity Reds cruising to a 11-2 victory. Just over four minutes into the first period, a short-handed goal from Varsity Reds Tyler Carroll put UNB on the board first. Caroll's goal would be the first of five in the first frame for the Varsity Reds, with goals coming from Philippe Halley, Matt Boudens, Philippe Maillet, and Taylor MacDougall, to take a 5-0 lead after one. Early in the second, a goal from Tommies Bryce Milson put St. Thomas on the board, followed by a tally from teammate Matt MacLeod to cut the lead to three. However, the St. Thomas tallies were shortly followed by goals from UNB's Cameron Brace, Rob Mignardi, and Cam Critchlow. The third period saw tallies from Francis Beauvillier, Christopher Caissy, and Rob Mignardi for his season of the game, to easily top the Tommies 11-2.

Dalhousie 2 at Acadia 3 OT (Box Score)

The Dalhousie Tigers travelled to Wolfville on Wednesday night to take on the Acadia Axemen. The Axemen opened the scoring in the first period with goals from Dylan Anderson and Stephen Woodworth in under one minute, to give Acadia the 2-0 after the first. The lone goal of the second period came from Dalhousie forward Phil Gadoury, to cut Acadia's lead in half. At 07:33 into the third period, a goal from Dalhousie sophomore forward JP Harvey tied the game at 2-2, forcing overtime. Just 15 seconds into the extra frame, Acadia's Kyle Farrell scored to give the Axemen the 3-2 victory over the Tigers.

Friday, November 6

Acadia 2 at StFX 4 (Box Score)

The Acadia Axemen travelled to Antigonish to face the StFX X-Men on Friday night. After a scoreless first period, at 05:16 into the second frame Acadia forward Mike Cazzola tallied a power play goal to put the Axemen ahead by one. StFX quickly took the lead later in the second, with two goals in just over a minute from sophomore forward Eric Locke and fourth-year forward Zack MacQueen, and a tally from teammate Brad Cuzner, giving the X-Men the 3-1 edge. Late in the third, Acadia's Kyle Farrell scored for the Axemen, with their second power play goal of the game. However, an empty-net goal from X-Men forward Steven Kuhn at 18:46 allowed StFX to keep their lead and edge Acadia for a 4-2 victory.

Moncton 1 at UNB 5 (Box Score)

The UNB Varsity Reds hosted the Moncton Aigles Bleus in Fredericton on Friday evening. UNB took the lead early, with three goals in the first period coming from third-year forward Philippe Halley, fourth-year forward Rob Mignardi, and a power play tally from fifth-year forward Tyler Carroll, earning the 3-0 lead heading into the second period. At 08:53 in the second, Varsity Reds Tyler Carroll scored his second of the game, for the 4-0 edge. Just under five minutes later, the Aigles Bleus got on the board with a tally from freshman forward Marc-Anthony Therrien to make the score 4-1 after the second. With just under five minutes left in regulation time, Tyler Carroll scored his third of the game for UNB, earning the hat-trick and leading the Varsity Reds to a 5-1 victory over the Aigles Bleus.

St. Thomas 3 at UPEI 5 (Box Score)

The St. Thomas Tommies travelled to Charlottetown to take on the UPEI Panthers on Friday night. The Panthers were the first on the board with two goals in the first period from fourth-year defenceman Nelson Armstrong and sophomore forward Nick Parker, to give UPEI the 2-0 edge heading into the second. The second period saw high scoring with three goals in under four minutes, with tallies coming from Panthers sophomore forward Darcy Ashley, and Tommies freshman forward Anthony Latina and sophomore forward Shane McColgan (PP) to give UPEI the 3-2 lead. At 15:32 into the second frame, UPEI forward Darcy Ashley scored his second goal of the game, giving the Panthers the 4-2 edge heading into the final period. The third period saw early goals from UPEI sophomore forward Brent Andrews and Tommies sophomore forward JC Campagna in under 20 seconds, to make the score 5-3 for the Panthers, allowing them to top the Tommies for the victory.

UNB 4 at UPEI 2 (Box Score)

The UPEI Panthers hosted the UNB Varsity Reds in Charlottetown on Saturday night, with the visitors earning the victory. After a scoreless first period, UPEI's Brent Andrews put the Panthers on the board at 04:35 in the second. A goal from UNB's Matt Petgrave at 07:19 in the second period allowed the Varsity Reds to tie the game at 1-1, but a tally from Panthers forward Marcus Power allowed UPEI to hold the 2-1 edge heading into the third period. At 05:33 into the final frame, UNB's Dylan Willick tied the game at 2-2, followed by a tally from teammate Rob Mignardi to give the Varsity Reds their first lead of the game. With five seconds left in the game, Cameron Brace tallied an empty net goal for the Varsity Reds to give UNB the 4-2 victory over the Panthers.
