The Saint Mary's Huskies earned a weekend sweep over the UPEI Panthers, allowing them to remain undefeated in AUS men's basketball action. The Huskies played to a 83-68 victory on Friday evening, then completed the sweep with an 84-47 win on Saturday night.
The Memorial Sea-Hawks and Dalhousie Tigers also earned sweeps this weekend. The Sea-Hawks defeated the Acadia Axemen 88-76 on Saturday night, then finished off the weekend with a 74-59 victory on Sunday afternoon. Dalhousie hosted the StFX X-Men on Wednesday, playing to a 90-76 win on Wednesday evening, then visited Antigonish on Saturday evening, where they earned the 89-70 victory.
The UNB Reds and Cape Breton Capers split their games this weekend in Sydney. The Capers earned the first victory with a 95-84 win on Friday evening, while the Reds bounced back to earn a close 84-83 win on Saturday.
