AUS Men's Basketball Round Up: Week 4

Wednesday, Nov. 23

StFX 102 at Cape Breton 91 (Box Score)

The X-Men downed the Capers 102-91 Wednesday night in Syndey, N.S. StFX was led by Kevin Bercy who posted 20 points and 15 rebounds, as well as Cameron Walker who had 10 points and 13 rebounds. Justin Andrew added 16 points and seven rebounds off the bench in the win.

Kenny Jean-Louis led the Capers with 20 points, 12 assists and nine rebounds in the loss.

Thursday, Nov. 24

Dalhousie 75 at Acadia 71 (Box Score)

The Tigers downed the Axemen 75-71 Thursday in Wolfville, N.S. Dalhousie's Ritchie Kanza Mata was named Subway Player of the Game after posting 11 assists, six points and five rebounds in the win. Alex Carson had 19 points and six rebounds for the Tigers, while Kashrell Lawrence added 14 points and 10 rebounds.

Acadia's Erik Nissen had 20 points and 11 rebounds in the loss.

Saturday, Nov. 26

Dalhousie 67 at UNB 80 (Box Score)

The Varsity Reds wrapped up fall semester play with an 80-67 win over the defending AUS champion Dalhousie Tigers in Fredericton on Saturday. Two-time Atlantic conference MVP Javon Masters led UNB with 22 points, 10 rebounds, seven assists and four steals in the win.

Hess Mayele had 16 points and nine rebounds off the bench for the Varsity Reds, while Stephon Smith added 10 points.

Jordan Aquino-Serjue was Dalhousie's top scorer, with 16 points in the loss.

Saint Mary's 81 at StFX 91 (Box Score)

The StFX X-Men topped the Saint Mary's Huskies 91-81 in their final regular season game before the holiday break. Kevin Bercy led the X-Men with 22 points, eight rebounds, two assists, two blocks and two steals. He was named the Subway Player of the Game. Tristen Ross added 20 points off the bench for StFX.

Theon Reefer had 21 points and seven rebounds in the loss for Saint Mary's, while Brian Rouse added 19 points and six rebounds.

Memorial 85 at UPEI 82 (Box Score)

The visiting Sea-Hawks earned an 85-82 win Saturday over the UPEI Panthers. Vasilije Curcic led Memorial with 28 points and eight rebounds in the win. Daniel Gordon added 24 points and eight assists. 

Samy Mohamed led the Panthers with 19 points in the loss.

Memorial 65 at UPEI 79 (Box Score)

The UPEI Panthers earned a 79-65 win over the Memorial Sea-Hawks Sunday, thanks to a 35-point third quarter performance. Milorad Sedlarevic led the Panthers with 23 points, 11 rebounds and four blocks in the win. Tyler Scott added 23 points of his own, along with eight rebounds, six assists, two steals and a block. Dut Dut had 16 rebounds.

Davion Parnsalu was the Sea-Hawks' top scorer, with 17 points and nine rebounds in the loss.
