(ST. JOHN'S, N.L.) The Saint Mary's Huskies defeated the Memorial Sea-Hawks 83-71 in AUS men's basketball on Sunday at the Field House.
Marquis Clayton led five Huskies in double-figures with 21 points. Jeremy McAvoy added 15 points off of Jonah Taussig's bench.
Caleb Gould led Memorial with 16 points on 8-10 shooting in the loss. Gould added seven rebounds. Vasilije Curcic added 13 points, seven rebounds, and six assists before fouling out in the fourth quarter.
Memorial will travel to Sydney next weekend where they will play a pair of weekend games against the Capers on Nov. 16 and 17.
