Tigers improve to 3-0 at AUS League Tournament

Dalhousie Tigers – 3 vs Memorial Sea-Hawks – 0 (25-10, 25-11, 25-11)

The U SPORTS No. 5 Dalhousie Tigers remain undefeated at the annual AUS women's volleyball tournament after handing Memorial a 3-0 loss. The Tigers improve to 3-0 on the weekend. 

Mieke DuMont led the way for the Tigers with nine kills, while teammate Sophia King, who was named the Subway Player of the Game, landed eight kills to the floor. 

The Tigers had 40 kills on 99 attacks compared to the Sea-Hawks 16 and the effect was felt throughout the match. Each match was handily managed by the Tigers, with the smallest lead in the opening minutes of each set. 

The battle of the weekend's undefeated teams will take place at 12:00 pm tomorrow between the Tigers and host Acadia Axewomen. Memorial will take on UNB at 12:00 pm offsite at Horton High School. Memorial will wrap up the weekend against Acadia at 4:00 pm.
