Capers cruise past Sea-Hawks 85-65
The Cape Breton University Capers wrapped up the first half of the AUS men's basketball season with n 85-65 win over the Memorial Sea-Hawks Sunday afternoon in Sydney.
Six players finished in double figures for the Capers (4-4), who led from start to finish.
Cedric Kasongo led the way for the home side, recording a triple-double with 12 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists.
Meshack Lufile with 12 points and nine rebounds and Kenny Jean-Louis with 12 points and seven rebounds were other top scorers for the Capers.
Jack MacAulay chipped with 11 points for CBU while Kayon Mayers and Christian Affolter finished with 10 points apiece for CBU.
Davion Parnsalu had 21 points to pace Memorial (3-5) while Noel Moffatt had 17 points and 10 boards in a losing cause.
