(Halifax, N.S.)—Day Two of the Thunder Selects Women's Basketball Tournament continued from Saint Mary's University and saw the McMaster Marauders defeat the Dalhousie Tigers 74-55.  Danielle Boiago led all scorers with 21 points in McMaster's victory.

Rachel Holmes (Ancaster, Ont.) finished with 11 points while teammate Jelena Mamic (St. Catherines, Ont.) had eight points for McMaster, who outscored Dalhouse 14-8 after 10 minutes.

The Marauders added to their cushion with a 22-17 second quarter score and took a 36-25 lead at half.  A 19-16 third quarter score saw McMaster up 55-41 after thirty minutes.

McMaster outscored Dalhousie 19-14 in the final frame to win 74-55.

Robertha Charles (Montreal, Que.) paced Dal with 16 points while Michele Tchiakoua (Yaounde, Cameroon) had nine points and Karina May (Moncton, N.B.) eight.
