Hawks drop interlock match to Rouge et Or

Halifax, N.S.)  The Laval Rouge et Or beat the Memorial Sea-Hawks 3-0 (25-18, 25-13, 25-20) in AUS-RSEQ men's volleyball interlock action, hosted by the Dalhousie Tigers.

Laval controlled the pace of play for most of the match. They went on a number of multi-point runs on strong serving from Ethan Ellison in the first set. Memorial was unable to gain any momentum on side outs and fell 25-18.

It was more of the same in the second set, with Memorial finding it difficult to get the offence going. Laval took the second set 25-13.

The Sea-Hawks were able to put a more complete set together in the third, after shaking up their lineup. Capitalizing on some Laval errors, Memorial was within four at the technical time out. After trading points, Laval pulled ahead with a well-balanced attack, and took the third and final set 25-20.
