Huskies and Reds draw 0-0

(HALIFAX, N.S.)—Rookie goalkeeper Jensen Brown (Enfield, NS) survived an onslaught from UNB on Sunday afternoon in SMU's 0-0 draw in Atlantic University Sport men's soccer action from Huskies Stadium.

Both squads had chances through out the match as both teams combined for 22 shots in the match.

UNB held a slight advantage in corner kicks over Saint Mary's, 13-10 for the match.

Brown recorded seven saves in the second-half for SMU as UNB's keeper Evan Barker (Winnipeg, MB) made three saves for the clean sheet.

For his efforts, Brown was named the Subway Player of the Game.

UNB improves to 5-2-3 (18 points) and sits in third place in AUS standings after seeing their five-game win streak snapped in today's tie.

SMU has 12 points on the year with a 3-3-3 record and hold the sixth and final playoff spot with three games to play.

Both teams return to action next weekend when SMU hosts Moncton October 19 and UNB hosts Mount Allison October 20.
