Aucoin scores three in win over Aigles Bleues

Abbey Aucoin scored three goals on Sunday as the Acadia Axewomen (4-0-1) picked up a 5-1 win over the Aigles Bleues (0-4-2) in Moncton.

The opening goal of the game came from Grace Longley in the third minute, followed by Sydney Kennedy in the 10th minute. 

Aucoin scored the next three goals for Acadia, while the lone Moncton goal came from Madeleine Belliveau. 

Milena Ramirez made two saves in the victory, while Krista Phillips took the loss in goal for UdeM. 

Acadia next hosts Cape Breton and STFX September 23 and 24 in Wolfville. Moncton is on the road September 22 and 23 against Mount Allison and UNB.
